Ok so I've been developing a 3d game and have gotten to the point where monsters chase you and attack you. Just a couple monsters here and there. But still needed.

I got the monster to follow but the rotation is killing me.

If I rotate the monster rotates with me and all the way around me. I'm rotating the model on my Angy so I'm not sure what to do.

SetObjectLookAt() is what you're looking for. In combination with MoveObjectLocallZ()
Make sure your 3D model is facing down the Z Axis
