Hi all. I've just installed Dark Basic Pro from the free online setup having lost my version on another laptop. I've got it copied but not the installation program.

Anyway, I'm running into a problem with a "Failed to load DLL (1: DBProSetupDebug.dll)" error. This includes running any executable programs. I do have DirectX 9 installed and no such luck. Any ideas on what to do?

Also, can I run Matrix1Utils from within it? I couldn't with version 7_6 of DBPro. It wouldn't compile.

If you wanted you could go to github and download the binaries there and then if you want, grab Rudolphos dbproEx. Ensure you have dotnet 2.0, 3.0 and 3.5 installed along with c+ redistribs . I have 2005, 2008 2010 2012 2013 2015-2019.

I got that same error and I re-installed DirectX 9.0c runtime and it fixed it.
