Hi all, can anyone tell me if I am being dumb as I haven't done much in 3D in AppGameKit but fancied giving it a go.
All I am trying to do is load a FPSC zombie into AppGameKit but it doesn't appear for me. I have tried rescaling (permanent) and so on but nothing shows. No errors either but a black screen.

I remember the was a thread before where the vertex colours were all black. Try SetClearColor(0x40, 0x40, 0x40)
That will show you the model. You'll then need to remove the vertex colours from the model

i don't remember seeing that. was that for ALL FPSC models?

because:

dirty code:

nothing special in there and dunno if that will help at all but my project folder is a mess/FULL of media that i wouldn't want to zip up :/ i guess throwing your model/texture in the media folder will work, tho

the only thing i remember modifying was converting the textures to jpg.

If it's .x (text format) you might be able to edit it in notepad and remove the colours or you could post it/message me and i could remove the colours or you could get meshlab and use that to remove the colours (i'm not sure meshlab preserves the animation though)

Thanks blink!
I opened it in Ultimate Unwrap and saved it without vertex colours and it works fine

I'm pretty impressed, it does need some online tutorials but it definitely helps!

It does need that but i've contacted the developer a number of times and they are very helpful and quick to respond!
