I was working away merrily, when an error appeared...something like list out of bounds, and bang...editor is empty lol

Had to restart computer as it acted funny after that

Don't compile any more code!
Look in the "Dark Basic Professional\TEMP" folder and the "(windows user)\AppData\Local\Temp" folder.
The compiler copies temp files of what you are working on during the compiling process. You might be able to recover your work.

Mage is the Man,
I had a different issue, saved a project / file and when reloaded all modifications had disappeared! damn byte pixies, there is .BAK files within the project folder also that share filenames with any project edited files.
