On Windows 11, once the JAVA_PATH is resolved, AppGameKit Studio fails to write out any more than 0 bytes of .apk file.

Tried both JDK-21 & JRE-8 to no avail.

i didnt think you had to set the path on WIN Studio?

when JDK became required, some had tried a newer version vs the version which the Studio update used ( JDK 17 ) and had to revert but i think some have used newer versions since and OpenJDK as well.

and JRE had nothing to do with android exports, IIRC; only JDK was required. some were getting confused with that which scuttled things when the PATH was set to JRE, instead.

not sure what else to offer so hopefully someone else has some insight

Thanks,

I'll try using JDK17 instead of 21 & see if that helps.

Hmmm.

Java_17 installed, path setup to that JAVA JDK.

Left it to egg timer for 7 minutes - went to check the destination folder - 20 GBytes of a compressed folder - somewhat excessive for a gravity ship game.

Something far wrong somewhere.

Ah well, giving up for now.
