This is how to install Steam and AppGameKit Studio to even 4 GB RAM users devices.

To turn Linux on:
1. On your Chromebook, at the bottom right, select the time.
2. Select Settings Advanced. Developers.
3. Next to "Linux development environment," select Turn On.
4. Follow the on-screen instructions. Setup can take 10 minutes or more.
5. A terminal window opens. Then, enter the following codelines.

These following instructions will help you to use Steam even as a 4GB RAM User.
6. Installing Steam dependencies onto your Linux-environment:
sudo dpkg --add-architecture i386
sudo apt install libgl1-mesa-glx:i386

7. Installing gdebi
sudo apt-get install gdebi

8. Installing steam:
cd <directoryToDownloadSteamInstallerTo>
sudo wget http://media.steampowered.com/client/installer/steam.deb
sudo gdebi steam.deb (may require path-correction)

9. As soon as you installed steam, you will be able to access it through
clicking the circle-icon at the very left bottom side of the chromeOS-menue.
Initially, on a 4 GB RAM device, there could be some lag while opening steam.
However, head over to "Library" and install AppGameKit Studio.

10. configure the scaleing level under "preferences"
11. try out these nice seeds: 17880 || 4152469

Thats how to use AGKS on a chromebook.
Good luck developing and enjoy using your chromebook as a developer.
