Well I won't be around anymore...I can't tell you why or when I'm coming back or why I don't have a computer anymore. (No it didn't blow up)

Sorry to all those projects I am going to have to dump.
And my DB Generation website as well...(If anyone wants it, be my guest)

To Pet Rat, I'll still get that GUI I promised, so don't worry.

I'll probably still be around for a week or so to read the thread and that's it...

Have to go now, bye everyone.

Hmmm, this is a curious departure indeed and he can't tell us why?

Maybe he's been sent off to area 51 to work on a top secret goverment project to find out why you can't tell it's not butter.

nooooooooo!!!!!!......
oh well maybe he's moved on to become some form of higher being.
this place won't be the same without you, no-one to make half sensible, funny posts that are still slightly related to the thread topic.

on why he's leaving, maybe he found another tv in a skip and brought it home so he's grounded, his isp's gone bust or he's moving house.

My guess is that like most people, the computer draws us away too much from real life and the 'things that matter'. You'd find you spend too much time on the PC, not enough time with real life friends, don't play sport as much, etc. It becomes a bit like an addiction where there's nothing else left in your life.

Perhaps he thought he'd be better off not using the computer at all. Then again, perhaps there's another reason entirely.

I know what you mean Exeat, ive spent so much time on computers instead of socialising that i find it very difficult to have conversations with people. I'm slowly getting back to reality now that im at uni, where its hard to stay on my comp because of all the social activities, mainly getting drunk with the guys on my corridoor.

But surely he would have said he was grounded or banned from using his PC?

Puffy, thats inspiring! I think I'll start working on getting some muscle on these sticks I call arms, and I think I will get contacts...

But maybe I shouldnt, if you get a close look at my face without my glasses on, in my opinion, I look like I'm about to murder someone or something (gotta stop being so serious).

'But surely he would have said he was grounded or banned from using his PC?'

Not at all, many people prefer saying 'I'm away on business' to 'my parents think I'm spending too much time on the computer', me included

Wow...didn't know so much people cared...

Well what alot of you said is pretty much the reason I left...but not exactly...yes I am being forced to take a break from computers...more then just report cards and too much pc...

So I currently write this in secret as my 2 week suspension from school starts...

Pet Rat and Akira, I probably won't be on msn till I'm 18...(just 4 more years to go) so goodbye for now...petrat, can you open megatoncreations.rar, and seperate DBG from my site? Send the open source dbg to mattman (the /program_screens is on the server) because I don't trust mattman with my other personal files...hell I don't trust mattman at all but I won't be able to update DBG anymore so there is nothing to lose...

Thanks again everyone...bye bye
(Got to go shovel driveway then study for Exams, EQUA, some other stupid governament test, and do my Buisness project...

My mate hacked the school network from a laptop with a wireless network card, used a program that the admin installed on every computer called netop, lets him see the desktop of other computers and controll the computer etc... He added a grand onto an order form for pencils. The person using the computer at the time saw the cursor moving and the number increase and told the admin. At the time my mate was doing this a computer admin guy walks throught the common room and sees the laptop with wireless card poking out the side. A few days later they take him out of a physics class. My mate decided to just admit it instead of lying and he got suspended for 4 days. They had no proof he did it so my mate could easily have got away with it.

The point is that he only got 4 days suspension for that and megaton has 2 weeks. He must have done something really bad like drugs or something.

(The admin were harsh as well coz they realized how stupid they were to install that program and they got the p**s taken out of them by teachers and students)

I got suspended for a week for throwing a fire cracker in the middle of a class, of course I didn't mean to, we were just joking around.

Drugs is very serious over here though, I know someone who got expelled for dealing drugs at our school. Can't speak for Canada though.

He better! That stuff is not legal and not for anyone to use, let alone teenagers

Doesn't nescessarily mean he was legally banned, just means his parents are very strict. Now maybe if he hacked someone... then that might mean he's legally banned, but I don't think that's what happened.
