Nah, I just like it. Also its good reference online. Its easier than me naming a load of artists and books to look at, which I will if your interested.
Something to definately look at is Richard Williams work. Hes an old school cartoon animator who learned from the masters. Check out his books(Published in loads of different formats) as he talks about distortion, characature, cartoon, and the importance of OBSERVATION. Also loads of writing about animation, which is the key to making a nice looking game(ganes are afterall time based graphics).
I just looked and couldnt find much of his stuff on google, but his book, techniques of animation, is refered to a few times...
