hello!!
I looked at the few downloadable games on the forum.
I am really impressed quality of some,but as a whole one sees only fps !!
Me, I did not make this kind of games,Then I wonder whether I am not to mislead finally !!

I made a simulator of distributor of slap

I've seen the post on bregeon where you talked about it and I did get it a try some days ago . . .

FPS are not all !

Hopefully other kind of games subsist
And it's true that some games look really impressive !

TOTALLY COOL EFFECTS!!!!

GIGAHERTZ RACE

This game has a TON of goodies in it!

The title scene is quite funny.

This game has a 1-2 minute intro scene to level 1, which shows off some beautiful scene design, humor, sound effects, and georgeous artwork!

This is the first game that I have played in the contest that actually has voices for the aliens - super job!

And video effects? This game has got them! My favorite effect is where it takes the screen and puts it onto a cube and spins it on and or off of the screen. Simply superb!

This is also the best use of the alien that I have seen so far in the competition. He is a 3D character in the middle of a game level, he can run, jump, climb ladders, and get items. And he is animated with several custom animations - ones not included with the original model.

My favorite alien animation in this game is the jumps he does during the title screen. I also love the one where he gets thrown off the screen by the Alienware Logo.

There are also some neat electicity effects, where you can hear some zapping and the models all turn to wireframe. Very cool!

And on level 2, you get to slap the enemy - and they fly off the screen! Awesome.

This game has a lot going for it in the competition, and I hope it does quite well!

OH

Your "menu" is probably the goofiest thing I have ever seen, it made me laugh.

Your cutscenes are really cool, but they coulda used subtitles, kinda hard to understand, with the accent and distortion combined
The game is fun, but the controls are a little sluggish.

It beats MY game.

Yeah, this game is pretty fun, I played it a good 5 times, which is a lot more than some games. I may even play it again . The sound effects and music are so good, they give an excellent arcade feel to it, I love the title screen as well. The controls are a bit un-responsive. I only got up to level 4 as I got stuck here, with no way to get out...

It is very hard to create a table, because that turns in all the directions!!

if the control are a little sluggish it east can be because of the fps which rows a little

All in all, it is a very good game. So far, I was only able to make it up to level 3. I am amazed at how you turn the entire screen on its side on level 3 - the math you must have used to make that work makes my head hurt! Very good job.

It's a quality game, minus all the anti-grammer. For some reason I couldn't get the rotation arrows to work the first few times, nothing would happen. The gameplay is also kind of slow due to the lag between movement, but it does add sort of to the whole time suspense. The voice acting wasn't too bad, but it was very hard to understand at times.

Captain! What a marvelous game! I made it to level 6 and got a final score of 786! I somehow fluked through levels 4 and 5 on my first try I need a cheat to stop the time The effects, the music, the zaniness, even the controls are great! Some people were complaining about the controls, but once you get used to how to jump in the right place, it all falls into place!

You're right about the endless FPS out there--- *this* game you made is the kind of game that is TRULY great. I mean, how did you think up the later levels? Did you work backwards?? I mean, all the 90 degree spinning would make my head hurt from a level design point of view! And I LOVE the blur effect between levels.

Sure there's Alien Racer, and House Wars, but I truly think that if you don't get 1st place, it's a shame. Your game actually makes people use their brain--- damn I just love a good logic game! Inspirational!

P.S. - Jimmy, if you see this, then I want you to know that I'm a fan of your Martian Idol as well! I am working on a dance game that actually gets tied to a beat--- but I think the humour in yours is hilarious. Like when the judge (?) alien beat the singer (?) alien with a bat and everyone clapped. I actually laughed out loud. Also, can you explain to me the animation after you die, where the singer just shakes and screams? I was expecting him to implode or something hehehe

The COBOL is old a rather tiresome language data-processing ,the lite is the opposite of dark :p !!!
Delighted by see that you remember diam diam, It is a small wink !!
With regard to rotations, that was not so hard,
Diam diam was much harder to make than gigahertz race !!
It is my first game in 3d, i did it in hardly 3 months, and I am content with me!!
