I can't figure out whether I'm using these commands incorrectly or whether DB is buggy with animation. If so, that's another project down the drain until it's fixed.

Set object frame doesn't appear to move from one from to another smoothly. It jumps instantly. I was under the impression set object interpolation will make it move smoothly between frames, but no matter what value I use, it jumps instantly. Instead, object interpolation seems to affect animation speed and make it strobe-like.

If I'm write, when you append an animation to an object, the last frame of the object and the new frame of the appended animation should interpolate together when you play from the last object frame to the first appended animation frame. Instead, it jumps instantly.

Am I not using these commands correctly, or are they buggy? They dont work the same as db1.

I'd like to see the commands work like this:
"Set object frame" moves from the current object orientation to the one at the destination frame, and interpolate at the speed set by the "set object interpolation" command.

Also, when you append an animation and play from the last animation data into the appended animation, the frames that link the two animations together shoulder interpolate also.

It would also be nice for the speed parameter of "Set Object Interpolation" to be the amount of screen syncs for interpolation to occur. Eg. Set object interpolation 1,100 would take 100 sync cycles to move from one position to another.

Any help?

Does nobody else have this problem, or has nobody used object animation enough to spot these problems?

I'm using a few of the animation commands such as play object, loop object and stop object without any problems. Haven't tried any of the others though.
