Don't get me wrong, I'm not going to return it but I like to know if I can remove software incase I tire of it etc, and I tried to remove DBPro through the control panel and it said I couldn't, it was being used, well I had just booted up my PC and the control panel was the only thing I had loaded

Try Explore CD and use maintenance shield to remove\repair.

Just go to the main Dark Basic Pro folder. delete the main files one at a time. Then, try the uninstaller again. It will work.

I had to uninstal it because of a fatal error which I have never seen the likes of before and one I got when trying to replicate a bug with the view options in the editor, I just had to put the CD in while I uninstalled and it uninstalled ok through control panel, strange but true...
