for a good example of what i'm talking about, please see this post & its images (it's really just the 'basics' of development) that i need:

http://www.darkbasicpro.com/apollo/view.php?t=2484&b=1

while "i" see some GREAT images here, i do see also the errors in patch 3. which leads me to this question:

since i consider myself to be a NB w/DBP, can anyone post some generic code that shows me how to use a background image like this and then be able to place objects here & there, & if possible, to be able to track these positions, and move around the screen? the main thing i'd like to see is the being able to place a background image and then place objects here & there along with being able to move within the scene. i know to some of you 'Pros' this may sound way to easy,,,but for me (& maybe other NBs), it's not.

i can do the modelling & create my objects,,,,it's just getting them all to work within DBP

thanx mucho
