Has anyone else read the book "High Score! the Illustrated History of Electronic Games"?

I just picked it up today and am very impressed. It's fun to read and has a lot of cool facts about the development of the video game industry.

Of course, it might prove to be the most expensive book I have ever bought! I keep finding old systems I used to have and forgot about (like "Electronic Quarterback" by Coleco), so I log on to eBay to bid on them because now I want to play them again!

I just bought it from a local computer book store (there is one across the street from where I work, handy for when I get stuck programming, but also expensive!).

You can find it at Amazon.com and they even have a little "look inside this book" like you can hit to see some of the pages.

I am up to the part now on Activision and how you used to be able to send them a photo of your television with a high score on their game and they would send you a patch! Here's a page I found that shows the patches!
