What is the go with "formatted dunctions" in the plugin directory?

Besides simplifing the call dll syntax it also includes the .dll in your .exe along with the the dbp dlls and your media.

If you have made a dll before then you just need to add a string table to basicize your functions then put it in the
compiler/plugins-user directory.

Its very good. There seems to be a problem when running a function multiple times, and when the actual function is in a class (which is solved by not using classes). Apart from that the SDK will be very useful.

okay...im lost.
Im assuming it can be made in c/c++ or any toher language, and you just shove the code in the plugins directory?
Of is it Dbpro code...
Basically, i have no idea how to do it, or what is it

Start by reading the techincal documentation in the help system - its all there, and fairly simple.

I can imagine it being a pain if you don't have Dependency Walker...

I would have thought any language that can produce DLL's will be okay.

If classes can't be used, then VS .NET is out...

nope you can't use every language that can produce DLL because there are more than one DLL type.
VB for example doesn't work because of active dll (-> COM)
