Hmmm. I got patch 3 but UDTs didn't work in functions, so I uninstalled dbpro and went back to patch 2. Then the above problem happened. Then when I took out all global string declarations, (there were only 2) it doesn't crash, but Now there is no transparency and all ghosted objects look black. So I'm a little frustrated. It was all working OK before the infmamous patch 3.

It sounds like some parts of the program are read-only and cant be overwritten...
