I'm not totally new to programming, I have played around with VC++ and VB, but am not good with them. I'm trying to learn DBP it might be easier to learn because you don't have to learn all the Direct X stuff. I have been trying to make a matrix and move the camera around with the arrow keys. I made a matrix
make matrix 1,50,50,10,10 and it worked good so I tried to make a bigger one, make matrix 1,1000,1000,100,100 and it crashed so that I had to reboot, is there a limit to the size of matrix you can make. I tried to find somthing in the manual, but did not see anything. Does anyone know where some good tutorials are for DBP or any good ways of learning it or is trial and error the best way? I don't think the manual is that great! Its nice to have all the commands in a nice flip open book but it would also be nice to know why, when, where & how to use them!

I think matricies can only be 75x75... but that was in DB classic. Not sure about DBP. It shouldn't have crashed though...

It can be 1000x1000 but the rest of it doesn't look right..
Try this...
make matrix 1,1000,1000,25,25
