when i run this it gets me to this program needs to close etc etc why???
also in clone object in the online help it says CLONE OBJECT Source Object, Object Number
but on the interface help (down) it says object number,source object which one is right....
is there also a way to make these asteroids run smoother...?

Works okay here (currently using the demo).

I suspect ist one of the .X files that causing a problem - if you want to e-mail it to me, I'll try it when I get home.

the ast4.x is the one found in one of the basic3d examples
before this i used the create cone to make cone asteroids(to check the positioning of them..) the faki is a small spaceship i made with 3dstudio max 3 and directx sdk exporter for x files and it works fine but when i put the ast4.x it messed up (and is the one worked in the example...) its nasty when a programming language isnt robust....very nasty :-(

Thats what I used to get it running - hence the deduction that the .X files were causing a problem.
