1.) What kind of world editors have they come up with (haven't research it much yet)

2.) I notice DBP said to have bone support, so what kind of native format does dbp uses to allow this.

3.) What mesh/animation format is most used now in DBP

4.) Does DBP support UDP networking or is it all DirectPlay still?

5.) What major bugs still exist now after 3.1

Thanks

Can you use bone-based animations in 3ds or .x files? or only in MDx files

"1.) What kind of world editors have they come up with (haven't research it much yet)"
They? As in who?
Anyway, as DBP is relativly new, there isn't much yet, although there are a few. Check out pathfinder's lightwave exporter.

"2.) I notice DBP said to have bone support, so what kind of native format does dbp uses to allow this. "
Only the Quake/HL type MDL files ATM. Patch 4, coming out end of this month may fix that, with the introduction of a new native DB format.

"3.) What mesh/animation format is most used now in DBP"
The Direct X model format (*.x)

"4.) Does DBP support UDP networking or is it all DirectPlay still?"
I believe it's all directplay.

"5.) What major bugs still exist now after 3.1"
Impossible to tell, but IMHO it's irrelevent, I'd say wait for patch 4, then start complaining. Of course, I don't have any major bugs hindering my projects
