Anyone have code on how to do this? or do I have to extract it all out? I found a Q3 model of Bobafett and want to use it in a game I'm making, but I'm stoopid and don't know how to load it.

You can rename the file to a .zip file and open it with Winzip.

Just change .pk3 to .zip, extract and find the model

Ok, I did that. When I try to load it, my app crashes when I run it.

Yeah, I wonder why we can't import anything besides .x without the damn program crashing, and why the animation does not work, and nobody anwers. It's all about that patch 4 that's supposed to do all that yadda-yadda. I hate this series of patches

Hi there,
try to convert the model using Milkshape
Export as X (Skin & Bones), ready
I convert some HL-Mdl to X and append the animation data in Milkshape.
IT WORKS FINE
