Hi,
Looking at the command "set global collision off", I figure it turns off all DBP collision. Fair enough, but in the help it also says -
"...unless the object has individual collision detection active."
I read this to mean, all DBP collision is off by default unless you specify "set object collision on" on an object.
Assuming that assumption is correct
then "set object collision on" doesn't work (use < and > to pick and object to move, move with cursor keys)..
set global collision off
make object box 1,32,32,32
make object box 2,32,32,32
set object collision on 1
set object collision to boxes 1
set object collision on 2
set object collision to boxes 2
position object 2,0,0,64
live_obj=1
do
if scancode()=51 and live_obj>1 then dec live_obj,1
if scancode()=52 and live_obj<2 then inc live_obj,1
if upkey()=1 then move object live_obj,2
if downkey()=1 then move object live_obj,0-2
if leftkey()=1 then move object left live_obj,2
if rightkey()=1 then move object right live_obj,2
for i=1 to 2
if object collision(i,0)<>0
text 0,0,"COLLISION!"
endif
next i
position camera 0,256,0
point camera 0,0,0
sync
loop
Cheers.
