This is a well presented game! I like the VB menu, and the intro. Unfortunately, when I try to play it, it crashes. I press up on the keyboard, and the game totally freezes. It appears to overwrite all of my internal memory or something, because I get a bunch of green lines appear, and then I have to re-boot my computer.

Sorry the same thing happens to me, it crashes when I press up to start moving I'm running WinXP, it causes a security error, to do with internal memory.

Until that happens though, its a nicely presented game, and the screenshots look cool. A shame I can't play it properly

Hey thats a pretty cool game now. The feeling of it is very original, doesn't have that DB feel to it. Well done. The controls are a bit rigid though, could do with some smoother turning. I like the crazy flat people . Could do with some more tricks as well.

game worked great for me, I played all 3 levels until I beat it. I was hoping for a little more triumphant winning screen though

but very nice, complete game!! I'm looking forward to your next project!

Fleaware@mts.net, There wasn't anything really hard to do in this, but I like making the caracters do crazy stuff and make them go REALLY fast. HEHEHEHE.

Jopie, have you tried downloading it again? Sometimes if your isp is slowing down it will corrupt your downloads.

Drew, the game is very solid and has character--I like it. Just some things to improve on are: voice acting, more flexible trick controls, and possibly adding some more levels. Also if Jopie's having problems running your game you should probably be concerned. If this were a retail game and you had people buying it, finding it didn't work on their system and returning it, you could lose a lot of money. Not just from the returns, but also because people would spread the news that your game is finnicky.

Overall though, fun game! Haven't had the chance to try the create a skatepark feature yet.

[EDIT] I suspect the 3rd party 3D model is the culprit since it did cause crashes whilst compiling source code during development... Jopie - try the demo out, that might work...
If it comes down to it, try replacing the model in the model folder with some other animated file of the same name... you may end up playing as a scorpion or tank but the game may work that way...

That's the best I can do but I would also suggest you try out the demo at http://www.ddrw.dbspot.com

After you beat the game and it starts over, the game isn't visible.
Also, I'm pretty sure a drunk skater falls just a bit more than that.

SOURCE CODE! You need to copy the source code into DBC and then compile it (make sure you do this in the folder you unzipped the game into)

Level 1 Source Code

Level 2 Source Code

Level 3 Source Code

All credit must be given to me! Have fun with it...

Hey Drew, I love the game. It's awesome. Tony Hawk's got nothing on you...except pro skating vids, more levels, but still! This is one of the best DB games ever made!

Nope, that code works fine... In fact, the problem may be to do with the sound speed code, so

Remove the command "SET SOUND SPEED..." and it may work

Does that fix it for you?

It is not for DBPRO!

It works fine in DBC, that's my best advice, and sorry I couldn't be more helpful... does it work for everyone else?

Don't forget you need all media in the same folder.

Does it compile in the editor. What error?
No offence, but what you've given me really doesn't help...

What version of DBC? Is it enchanted? Which level did you try to compile? Are you using Windows 98 or XP?

You should probably know that it doesn't like working on Windows98...
