This is Rally Run, it is my first (released) DarkBasic game.
It is a pritty simple rally game. There are 4 cars to choose from, but unfortuanetly only one track. There are also 3 difficulty levels.
There 3d models are all done by me(which explains why they are so ugly ).

Hey, pretty cool for your first released game.

Needs some collision and maybe some better car physics.

Ooh and don't forget AI

It's not easy creating such game. Car physics can be very simple, i created a code for it (it's on my site). It's almost the same as your car-handling so you can figure it out i think. For collision you really have to get yourself the Nuclear Glory DLL.

I like the style of the models, the simplicity gives it a certain coolness.

Keep it up and create a cool game with it! I like race/rally games.

You don't need Nuclear Glory DLL !!! I feed up with people say that the awnwers to every thing. It can all be done with math it think about it!!!

But why reinvent the wheel? How long would it take to mathematically code collision, gravity, sliding, anti-jitter, returning polygon data, normal data, raycasting, rotational collision, precision handling et al?

There's a good reason why people rave about NG collision - it's bloody good!

@jopie dopie - Maybe i will try to write a tutorial about 'arcade car physics'. It's a matter of 'if - then'. If you steer the car left and you are driving faster than 100 km/h then it slides a little to the right. Get it? It's all based on this principle.

About Nuclear Glory: I suck at maths and don't want to waste my time at math-collisions so the DLL is perfect for me. If you want to figure it out yourself? Go ahead.
