Big problem with "system standby",
never fails to corrupt and crash system!!!

The system stand-by has always been dodgy... I never use it, even on XP as it can cause too many problems...

There was an artical in PC Plus quite a few months ago now, about system system stand-by and why they're a pain; the gist being that there is no defined way of detailing what it should be, and what should happen - different manufactures use different methods...
