Newcomers DBPro Corner / converting .asc format to 3ds or x

anyone know a way to do it? Ive got a 3ds to x converter but truespace 3 only saves in .asc format. Thanks

Dude! it comes with db

I think milkshape accepts truespace- not sure about animator. Does it export in any other than truespace? What about .lwo (lightwave) If so, then export it in that, download Anim8or (www.anim8or.com) then import your object there, then export it again in 3ds, then use the .x converter that comes with DB.

Truespace only exports in .cob(truespace/caligari format),.asc(3d Studio ASCII),.dxf,.can(animation) and .rsd(playstation format). None of those are accepted by animator, but if you could think of any other convertors I would be grateful, thanks.

Sorry ChronicFear but I cant remember where I got the convertor, use a search engine and I'm sure youll find one.

Lithunwrap(sigh again,is there anything this lil proggie can't do? lol) can open numerous file formats including almost all the above

I thought it was in the TOOLS folder?(DBV1)
