This game is quite different to pong with the control system using acceleration/friction and the angle the disc comes off the bat is very rarely the same(after you've moved). Just click on airhockey in the nav bar from my home page.

What speed did you get - I got about 4kb/s on my 56k, which is normal for me.

2.5 kbs/sec with my high speed cable (roadrunner)
I never have problems downloading games or programs. Usually takes couple seconds.

Okay, I downloaded your game, extracted it, ran the game and I have to say Nice menu. After I click start the loading screen pops up then after it loads I get a runtime error and the game shuts off.

Not sure about the runtime error does ne1 else have this problem.

as for the download speeds:

Sorry but its my host, but then it is free and not purpose built like dbspot(just easier to use).

I had a good download speed, about 18-22 kbs.

Game was ok, although a little hard to control.
