Welcome Jess

On a related note, I should now add that moderators powers have been increased so we are able to deal with any spammers more quickly.

As a result I request that people stop spamming the forums with posts about people spamming, if that makes sense.

I have banned him until August. I think its best to only use short bans, as some users will take it as a hint to grow up when they come back. Others will realise that they ought to be posting in an MSN Kids chatroom and will not return.

Lol no, Jess does a great deal in the DarkBASIC forum by helping people and providing lots of valueable information and since none of our current mods ever visit the DarkBASIC forum he was nominated to be mod. I think this is the 3rd time it's happened to him so he's finally become a moderator.

You can't vote anyone else to becoem a mod, this was just a special case.

Well,
I would have voted for Jess to be a MOD as well. So now I can cogradulate him. I drink coffee, so here, here!!! Jess

But I also felt that others could be MODS. including
Exeat (Strangely enough I thought he was a MOD. Must be that professional banner.)
Cattlerustler (Not here too long but man... he answers so many questions across different topics 2d,3d,Maths,Animation. Truly talented, excellent verbal skills, plus he knows how to bring the pain when necessary & isn't affraid to flex a little brain-muscle; which is needed from time-to-time)

I know I'll might get flogged for this one but:
Raven (He ss a wealth of knowledge and experience. I never had a problem with him, and I don't have a problem with him being oppinionated and having strong convictions. He's still a bright bulb, and he contributes a lot of factual information, and can usually set some facts straight when it's needed.)

There are others but these are my top 3
honorable mention wallaber, bear crazy donuts productions

heh, thanks The Lynx and Zenassem. I think I am too susceptible to getting into crazy behavior when angered, quite honestly - and since I have displayed that on more than one occasion I doubt I would ever be asked to be a mod. Thanks for the votes of confidence though!

cheers

Lol, I'm sure RPGamer has things in control over there.

Plus, we don't want too many Aussie's in power, people would think it's some sort of takeover...

We should just make everyone a mod! Well, everyone except me, I'd go nuts. What am I saying, I AM nuts!

You're right about the aussies in power bit, you saw what happened during the holocaust, wouldn't want that again!!

@Cattlerustler, Yeah I just figured that has something to do with the horns. You know, "you F**k with da bull - You get the horns!" And sometimes it's needed.

It doesn't matter too much if you never get a MOD under your name, we all recognize your impact on the boards. Same goes for Exeat!

Kidding. Well, look on the bright side of things, I'm not a mod.

This should be an interesting adventure with many wacky sticky's and unorthodox bans...

Thanks again to all those that helped push the vote, and especially to Arkheii for starting the thread

Hang on...

Now, I'm nominating Newbie Brogo. I know he would make these forums a great place. Even if he does hate me, he would be a great moderator.

Without hating, this world would be perfect.
