(I'll try to short this down a bit)
I knew about creating games for about 3 - 4 years but I've been programming for 1 and a 1/2 years as the first ps I got was Visual BASIC 6.0. A few month later it came clear to me that VB6 wasn't designed for making games (I still use it) so I looked every were for a proper games programmer software and came across Dark BASIC. etc, etc 'till I moved to Windows 2000 and DB didn't work properly and for my birthday I got Dark BASIC pro and ever since I thought "This is the best choice I ever made."
I make games for fun!

My dad started me using QB before i can remember. I stopped programmming because basically I didn't understand it. Then I went throught all my files on my old computer (for use as storage space) I missed QB and discovered it later, and got me back into programming

My dad thaught the the Basics of Basic way back in 1988 on a Pet CBM (Bet virtually no1 here remembers them!) when I was 7 years old!!! I moved to a Spectrum and C64 in 1990 (Color graphics and sound wooo!), around 1991 I got an Amiga with Amos, then bought a 486 in 1994 and programmed initially in Q Basic. I learned Visual Basic and C but never became profficient enough to make decent games I used TGF then C&C, and made Doom Mods, but never really found a platform I was truly happy with till Dark Basic. Now I use DBPro and am v happy with it. Yay.
