3dsmax is difficult...
but simple characters with translation or rotation are easy to do.
Export them in .3ds
The option "connect" is reconize in this kind of file.

A french .

I'm sorry to say that your struggle has only just begun.

Too right 3dsmax is difficult!!
And Milkshake is unfriendly in comparison.
I've been trying all year with DB and DBPro to get a simple 3dsmax cube with a couple of textures and some animation to work. And I'm still struggling!

Why on earth is this not explained in the manual, or anywhere for that matter?????????
It's the one 3D games creater thing that we all have to tackle, and there's just no support for it.

apart from this forum which shouldnt be nessessary.

WE NEED 3D CREATION AND EXPORT/IMPORT HELP!!!

Hi vivi - just export it to a 3ds or x file, then use the load object command to load it, and the play object command to animate it.

I haven't forgotten about your tutorial, but I'm afraid it probably won't be ready till around 6th of January cos I have 2 start travelling and visiting family soon I have some good ideas for it tho

Please be warned - if you are using 3Ds Max V1 or 2 then you cannot export 3ds models and use them in DBPro as you could in DB Classic, you must first convert them to .x files.

Hopefully Patch 4 and the new render pipeline will address this.

Reece - Sorry am I missing something here? Why is it hard?

Just export it, then make sure its in the right project folder of DBPro, then click the media tab in DBP and load it, then use the load object and play object commands.

I assume you have downloaded Patch 3? If this isn't working for you it may be a compatibility bug cos it works fine on my version
