Very cool to play online with so many people only problems were relating to seeing text as so small and bad colours. Also if you select a person it doesnt show thier details in the little box in the corner like with the jellas and I think they should be weaker.

Yeah lol, Iam gonna get that done with....Lets get cloggy to gracefully add the ability to use outlines with text
But yeah I probably will tone down the jella...maybe

Jellas

Next update will have:

ANYWAYZ thanks for testing you guys

-Found out that this build was tons tons tons, more stable then the last build...we didnt have any problems that caused any clients to crash or server to crash like last time except for that wierd crash that we had...but I dont know the reason of...didnt give me an error..it just closed...I think maybe just something in multisync pooped....well seeya next time

EDIT:
Also sett upload the "settings.txt" so I can figure out if it was the way you entered your name...

EDIT AGAIN:
@Lynx that is a good idea for changing hit message colors...
They will probably be dark red sounds good?
AND NEXT TEST WE CAN TEST OUT MY BOOT COMMAND
I know it works...i just wanna do it xD

Looks very stable!

just 2 things;

1) maybe 5mins are too much
2) I tried it with 2 clients, and while moving you are not seen by the other guy!

First I had a crash because I used the same exe, it crashed because it could not open the pack files. SO i copied the directory...

Ok...Sett I have found the bug..the reason that it messes up with you is because your lastname is empty, I will fix that wierd bug, all it seems to do is change text color and makes it so you dont see your battlemessages all the way xD

Just dropping to show off new terrain system that is in the works!

[href]http://s15.photobucket.com/albums/a372/Darkfirewolf5/?action=view¤t=Memblockterrrain.jpg[/href]

[href]http://s15.photobucket.com/albums/a372/Darkfirewolf5/?action=view¤t=Memblockterrain01.jpg[/href]
This terrain is better then last terrain system because, it is more flexible and has a better polycount,

the frames per second has rised, where with last terrain it was about 500fps now it is upto 1000fps on a P4 3.0ghz 1024mb ram Geforce 6800 128mb

So game will probably run at about 900 to 700fps when I intergrate it into the game instead of 400 to 250fps

-Also added a new Patcher.exe that can now patch the exe with any updates
-Customizable HUD (drag position around.change skins)
-HUD fades in and out
-New Tag system include images to show things like monster,or other player
-New damage counter system
-New music system
-and much more!

dang, lol, i think its nearly impossible to tell the difference of anything above 60 or something like that . Your ingame models and engines won't eat up more than 100-300FPS ?

Yes but its a big increase from when it used to run about 45fps on this machine to 100fps then to 250fps and finally to its estimated fps rate of about 700 to 900ish fps

I dont mean to put you on the spot Oneka i just have a few question regarding modeling, animation, music.

1) What kind of theme are you going for. At the momment we see basic (no texture) models for player characters. Are you going for an anime feel, or a semi serious approach?

2) Are you doing the animations for characters urself or do you have a team, or havent you got that far yet?

3) Im a big fan of the final fantasy series, especialy FinalFantasy 7 and i can not say this enough, i believe music plays a big part in games like this. Have you had any thought on the type of theme (music) which is going to be playing?

Regards

I have made a new test level named "The Island" which is surrounded by water and contains 3 Islands

I will be soon populating that Island by hand with trees and other assortment of things in DORaCT and port it over to the client and server anyway just a quicky update...
