Hi
I just received DBpro ordered from Fasttrak there
is no reference manual included, just the cd and a
48 page "User manual" in a dvd case.
Can anyone tell me if this is correct?
At least with DB v1 the manual gave a break down of all
the commands.

Hello,

No it's not correct. There shoul be a Reference Manual inside the box (it contains 133 pages).

Have a nice day,

If you are in North America, then you should have recieved an Email from Guy explaining what happened to the manual. The printing company totally screwed up the job and Guy made them reprint the manuals. The quality of the manuals was horrible. He explained that we "In north america" will recieve the manual 3 weeks after we received DBP. He also stated that he will be including some mystery "bonus" goodies.

So, you should be receiving it shortly. Hope that answered your question.

Does this mean that if you did get the manual and you are in North America you have an incorrect version?

What's the difference between the two manuals?

JimB, if you ordered from Fasttrak all it requires is an e-mail to them explaining the situation and one of their staff will help you out.

Dazzy I realise I won't get a reply until at least tomorrow.
What worries me they might be putting out different packages
of the software, although there was no indication of this on their site.

dunno about US retail outlets, but the UK's want all documentation to be inside the DVD case, thats why manauls have been getting so small over here. If this isn't the case in the USA, it would account for the manuals being reprinted for RGT!!

As in my first post I said "just the cd and a
48 page "User manual" in a dvd case." is what I received but there is supposed to be a 133 page Reference manual also.

I phoned Fasttrak today,it would seem there is a
problem with their email page at their website.
They are now sending me the Reference manual plus as
I bought DB v.1 from them last year they are giving me
a refund for the difference from the full version £59.99(which it was when I ordered) to the upgrade £49.99.
So I saved £10 and still got my DB v1 manual cover HeHe!
well happy.
