I am running DBPro, 3.1 patch under Windows XP. Whenever I
click to view variables during a debug session it crashes the debugger and the compliler (presumbly as this spawned the debugger...)

Any ideas? (lots more debug stuff available

I have seen it happen, the problem was usually from using undefined vars as array indexes or calling dll's with undefined vars as parameters. Try commenting suspected lines until it goes away, then print your vars and see if they are what you expected.
