I have a problem and its a big one.
i made a simple world in 3ds max5 and i put multi textures
on the ground (grass and some road) then i put some planes
and i put some tree textures on the planes using transparency map.
Well the problem is that when i export it and import it in db pro it loads only one texture at the ground( i see only grass but i dont see the road texture) and i dont see any transparency map on the trees.
then i try to export it in X format. But when i import the X format in db pro i dont see any texture at all.
please help me and tell me what to do to load multitextured objects in db pro and transparency maps using mask maps.
i very thank you for all of you.
IMPORTANT NOTICE.
i have db pro trial version

DB does not use multi textures on a single object.
The closest thing you can do is make one texture file,
that has all of the textures on it, and use the unwrap modifier.
Think of a decal sheet you get with a plastic model.
You pick a section of the object and place part of the texture on to it.
The other thing you can do is use multiple object and export them as one.
But a single object can not have multiple textures on it.
I hope that makes sense and that was what you were asking.

As for the transparency...
All RGB(0,0,0) sections of a texture can be made into a transparent section.
You must use the 'set object' or 'set object transparency' command to make sure it does it.
