Newcomers DBPro Corner / Magic World freezes when I chose a texture

Whenever I go to chose a texture for my matrix, I click on the texture I want and it freezes. That it. Then I have to hit ESC to close it. Now, MATEDIT gets a Runtime Error and this freezes when choosing a texture. I dont know where to get that Cartography program or whatever the heck its called, and for 3d level editor, i have it but i dont know what is wrong with it. Anyone know where to get more map building programs that are free? Thanks!

The program I've been using to make maps and .bsp files is "Gtk Radiat" version 1.2.11 . It is very simple to make objects and textures, but when I used it, it worked fine until I tried loading the bsp file into DBPro... I think I am going to try to use the X Converter from Cartography Shop to convert my .bsp to .x.... And, GTK Radiant is free. to find out about it go to www.google.com and type in GTK RADIANT. Then click "I'm feeling lucky" or whatever it says and it will bring you to the Radiant page..

Ok... Well, i just tried out the CShop demo, and it sux, and the converter doesnt work because it says it is missing files. This is one program leaving the ADD/REMOVE progams list!

And do you now want to know something? I am now trying to use 3D MAP EDITOR to make levels, and I installed it in English, and IT IS IN STUPID FRENCH!!!! So I cant read anything or do anything because after I select a texture, i cant add it to my matrix because I do not understand French!!!

AND NOW I INSTALLED IT AGAIN AFTER UNINSTALLING IT, AND IT IS STILL IN STUPID FRENCH AFTER I EVEN DOUBLE CHECKED IT WAS ENGLISH, AND IT WAS! Now all I have is a good program, Gtk Radiant, and I hope I can get that to work right with DBPro.

I dont know why you have so many problems im using the same tools and i dont have any problems - maybe its your computer or video card that may be the problem.

Gtk Radiant is a program that can creat .bsp levels for the following games, I think:

RPG Gamer, I have Matedit when I open it, it gives me a RUN TIME ERORR message so I cant use that. I also have other programs.. 3dLevel Creator and it doesnt freeze, but there is no way to add textures for me or anything... I mean, there is a way, but right now I know I am just to lazy to find out. I also have many more programs, but no matter what, I will stick with Gtk Radiant because it can do indoor and outdoor levels, and its easy for me to use!

AlamDV, NHL, NHL 2K3....... The best combination ever!

I also have Cartography Shop.... I dont remember what was wrong with it but I deleted it yesterday.

If you follow the instructions given on the website, MatEDIT WILL work. So many people have said

RPGamer MatEDIT doesnt work

after they follow the instructions its

"Oh nevermind"
