I FINISHED MY FIRST GAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry for the messed up menu controls, but I'ma work on that in my next game (which I've already started).

Here are the MENU controls.

When in the main menu, use enter. In the skill menu... space bar.
To pause, press space bar, and to unpause, press control.

All the other controls are simple. I could probably fix the menu, but this is a crappy practice game, so I'm not gonna bother.

Anyways... this is my first game... and ENJOY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Kind of cute. Interesting spellings. But cute.

If you were going to make version 2, I'd suggest adding some degree of control to the angle the ball bounces off the paddle - ie a steeper angle when it hits the edges of the paddle. That way the player can use their skill to aim the ball at the bricks, rather than just hoping for the best.

Good work.

Superman:

Uhh... it's Break-Out. Sorry if I forgot to mention that.

Dreq:

Thanks. I made those midis awhile back when I played Graal.

Ric:

Hehe, thanks. There won't be a version 2 though.

I'm movin' right along to a side-scroller, and I'm makin' the editor for it right now.

Congrats,
it's a very nice little game to play. Cool mids and sound effects.

The menu was a little fast for me as well, maybe introduce a timing loop in between pressing up/down arrow might help. As it was I found it a bit hard to select different menu options.

Otherwise, good work.
At some point in time you might want to comment up the code and maybe drop it into the codebase so that other new people can check it out and learn from it.

Everything happens for a reason

Yeah, I really like it, the music added alot to it. It felt like a finished game, although some spellings were a bit quirky.
Good work.
