You would have to make an in game menu like thing, that should be made in PSP or Photoshop. Black parts where you want your text fields to be. Make it, and we will go from there

I don't know about the coding but as far as gfx go it would be pretty simple to make a final fantasy 7 style menu system.

Yep. Thats pretty simple- but getting all the items and magic and being able to use (or not use ) all sorts of things in battle starts getting it difficult
