Hey guys, I know it says "next issue" but in the newsletter It says how to make a PureBASIC DLL. I've made my own PureBASIC Winsock DLL and it's working great. The one problem: How do I return a string from the DLL back to DarkBASIC Pro for use with the GetData command? If anyone knows please tell. Thanks!

Nope! I don't have it. For some reason doing: ProcedureReturn "TestString" will work but if i do:

datastr.s="TestString"
ProcedureReturn datastr

DBPro doesn't get it.

Hey guys, I got the DLL to work! Thanks a bunch to Mr. Frederic Cordier for helping me find my little bug!

ClientSocket.dll is now available at http://www.dracsoft.com/zips/client_socket.zip

To install just copy the DLL into your "%DBDir%\Compiler\plugins-user\" directory.

There is an example of how to use it in the zip file.
