Hi,

Anyone knows why I loose all my textures when I load a 3DS scene? The same scene converted from 3DS to X works but not the original 3DS file????

Thanks in advance for your help,

Seb.

I dont think 3DS is properly supported yet. Another patch addition we'll have to wait for. If db v1 is anything to go back, dbpros performance will be obsolete before its 95% bug free.

The collision system is vastly improved in DBPro and when the collision demo runs, it works very well. Unfortunately it is buggy like the rest of DBP.

We can live in hope.

I'm just getting fed up though. Every single time I try to make a slightly ambitious project, I hit a barrier with only very complex work arounds.

Indeed - there are problems with limb information, loading 3DS files, core commands (fewer than they were which is good. Patch #4 needs to be more than just an update to the graphics engine.

:-((
I'll have to use DirectX files then, even though they are at least 2 times bigger than the 3DS ones...
