@That Dude Guy: Use this one (which is within the image size requirements and isn't a bmp) and bugger off to a different thread and bug someone else(and please download it to your own server first):

Ooh here's mine. I like icons. Every few months I have to dump all my icons in a folder and move all the files downloaded to desktop to a folder on my E drive. I've gone through seven so far..........

Oh my God, the_winch, I'm just going by what your icons look like but it seems that you are using the most bug-ridden, hideous and all together awful version of Windows known as... WINDOWS ME!

I still have the disk of Windows 2 somewhere in the house. I wonder what happens if I install it on an actual computer.

WHAT!!!
No one has posted a picture of the top of their desk yet. Every time a post about posting a picture of your desktop is created some moron who thinks they are smart has to take it as the top of their desk even though everyone understands that it is a picture of the desktop on your computer.

I guess I get to be that person since someone has to do it.

Since I dont actually have a desk I will just post a picture of a desk that looks neat.

damn wats up with all the anime and video game backgrounds, mine's usually a girlfriend or a cartoon from penny arcade or achewood, the only game one i had was the enemy terriotry logo without the words. made me feel nazi like. But i don't regularly change my backgrounds.

Attachment? Hmmm. Since my website is having issues then I'll use this instead...

Mine's a bit boring BTW, but there isn't many desktop images this exact size, and I don't like stretched piccies.

Remember, it's the download button on right.

Cheers

Here's mine:

And no, I don't care if my machine is running the shareware version of WindowBlinds. I also don't have any fancy icons or any other fancy crap like that because:

1. I tried IconPackager once, and I had way too many problems with it not using the right icons.

2. The trial version of ObjectDesktop is way too limiting, and I'm not willing to buy it just yet.

3. I frankly do not care!

And BTW, that cone is my cursor. :3

I might have some bitmaps on my desktop because I'm too lazy to open paint.

The default editor is fine.

oh yeah, i'm a rebel.

how about that: an OSX skin with the default OS9 BG

i'm with evil monkey here; i don't feel like buying the full version of windowblinds cause it's quite useful as it is! do i care about skinning every program possible? it'd be nice, but i don't really want to pay $10 to do so

I redid mine today, because I am bored. So know it has 17 icons (including quick launch), 4 of which are files for keeping items which are catalogged with a text file also on the desktop I can't show a screeny dump due to privacy reasons...

my desktop is an awful mess^_^ The only reason it's not completely covered with folders and files is because my GF AGAIN moved it all into a folder...

there's now only two folder's on my desktop
"Junk" and now recently "A bunch crap" ... she forgot to put in "of" in there.. how cute...

The Windows skin is Whistler 2450, the original XP Professional skin, to replace the Classic one. Somehow it was sidetracked as the one used. Shame as it is a nice skin.

If you are really that desperate to know then pay for a Microsoft Beta account to gain access to it.
Problem is there are two Beta version;

Longhorn (NT 5.2) you can pretty much get anywhere; the Current build 4580 is up on KaZaA / eMule / Bit Torrents. Usually I'd be against people obtaining software in this fashion, but the Longhorn Beta is sort of like Windows ME. So the way I see it really isn't much problem with it; it would be like installing the extra libraries to XP.

I would comment on the other Beta, but can't. Downloaded the lastest build two days ago and I'm impressed. Just wish it was Win32 Compatible, right now it only runs Win32+.
