hi

i have just got dbpro and i want to make a 20 line challeng like the first code!

the password is: "cheese"
but try to type in another word to see that the program only reconise "cheese" as the word.

NOTE: this codesnippet works in dbpro and also in dbclassic

What WOULD be cool, is if you got an encoding/decoding algorithim in there, as at the moment, if you compiled an EXE and looked through it with a hex editor (or maybe even Notepad), among all the gibberish you would see 'cheese'.

If the password was encrypted by itself, then the password would be pretty much uncrackable!

i made one but i can still see my string but of course i am still in progress of the decryptor

edit:
wow i didnt knwo that: i can see my encryption function in it even
like it says 1 (4 unreadable characters) then a2

why dont you dissable escape key and system keys.

then people can't exit the security system!!!

Her eis a better password protection program i made you cant alt tab out if you have the dll.......


ANd you can make a new pass of whatever you want here




just remove the call dll stuff to run it

Why not try and make it so that when someone types in a password, it comes up as *'s?
Takes abit of working out, you need to print **** to the screen, but still know what the user typed to see if the password matches.

Not that hard, use a list or an enlarging string that records the inskey() or something and print a * for every letter. Then run the script on pressing of enter
