Hey

I recently discovered how to do something in DB which I've be puzzling over for a long while! It's made this demo possible and I'm proud of it.

I've made a start at a space combat sim engine, you must have a joystick with a throttle overwise it won't work.

Anyway, the demo is at my website

(hope it works this time), under the projects section, project name 'Velocity'. Have look at anything else you want while you're there.

Don't worry about it

On your site, the links are not viewable, black on a black background? I found them by dragging the mouse and highlighting space. I clicked on Velocity and got a Javascript Debug error? Do you have any screenshots also?

This is crazy, there isn't any javascript!! I'm only using a few style sheet commands and as for the black on black background that isn't the page because the background is a dark blue and the text is white.

Both the last two links work for me so it isn't anything with the site.

It's all a dream, trust me...

Dunno about Avril (ropey but fit ) but Blink 182, Green day and (to a lesser extent) Sum*41 are great punk bands. But Punk would never have existed if it wasn't for Ozzy Osbourne INVENTING Rock music in the first place, with Black Sabbath! Sorry Petrat, but a history lesson is needed

Oh and Petrat if you like Punk, check out Sex Pistols, Bad Religion and the really early Offspring Albums for a good introduction to the history (I know - I know - but those bands are easier for "mini"/"nu" metallers to swallow ) Also listen to every Nirvana Album to see music progress

Not exactly. Whilst you COULD accredit the Stones with the birth of Rock, that would be unfair as the Beatles could also be sighted, as could the Kinks. However all of these bands are just more modern British takes on American 50s Rock and Roll. It could be argued that Ozzy Osbourne's style of music originated from the same roots, just split in a different direction, so in that sense you are partially right.

Perhaps it would have been more accurate (or less debatable) to say that with Black Sabath Ozzy invented "Heavy Metal". The reason I said "Rock" is that most people in the scene prefer the name "Rock" because "Heavy Metal" is an old expression and seems to have got stuck in the late 80's, with Aerosmith and Iron Maiden
