Hey SL,

I was just playing with your most recently posted version of 3d pong, looks good!

Though even in that version (with the fuzzy ball), it was still easy to capture the ball inside the paddle when hit on the side.

I've not looked at the code, but the behavior suggests that when the paddle speed up or down is FASTER than the balls speed vector in the up/down direction, that the paddle can "catch up" to the ball that it has just hit... and in striking it again, causes the retreating ball to reverse direction, and now come at the paddle again! (thus capturing it)

My suggestion: Turn off collision detection for the paddle that the ball is moving away *from*, essentially assuming that if the ball is going in the -x direction, any collisions with the Right paddle are meaningless and should therefore be ignored. +x direction? Ignore the left paddle. This will potentially speed up your code, and should avoid all cases of capturing the ball.

ok,so il work on my pong game as i go along, but i would like to start on this little mini rpg coin collecting thingy, what i need to know first is: where do i get this terrain pluggin?

and when i get that im going to need to undertand how to do collisin for it and everything so that the character cant just go through hills and such
