Is there anyone out there able/willing to texture and animate a 3DS Max model for me...I'm quickly loosing patience with the program. The model in question is a Samurai Lemming.

Sorry Not posting for the job Bet can tell you a samurai Lemming sounds pretty cool, and personally I just don't like 3ds it's all lightwave for me. (hmm now to figure out how to export X with animations it can do it but need to remember) Well good luck and when you get it or something could you send me a screenshot viro@sbcglobal.net (i understand the lack of patience when it comes to animateing)

I've decided to animate him myself - it has meant altering the model slightly so I don't have to move legs etc. (gave him one of those long dress things that goes down to the feet!) You can just sort of see the feet shuffle whilst he walks!

Ok, let me start again. I was talking about the comment becuase you seemed not to care what is was. I replied because I do care and hate it when people who disregaurd anything japanese. I have a great love of everything Japapese, and a take such comments personally. Right now, you idea is on the border of offending me. How you use these characters and if you misrepersent the sammuri will be the desiding factor as too how I feel of this game. Now, putting aside my zeal, don't you think 3000 poly is a little mush for a simple character? I would seriouslly think about lowering the polycount, esspecially oif you're going to have alot on the screen at once. We're all lightwieghts here, no need to do PS2 quality graphics here unless you plan to get a DVD burner.

I was only joking.........the game isn't so much about Samurai...but if I entitled the post Bushi then most people will not have a clue as to what it was about.

As for polycount, I have 51 objects (ranging from 3000-4000 polys), 1 matrix and 5 static objects at the moment and the game is running at a steady 47 fps. However I do plan on reducing the polycount if it becomes necessary - at the moment it is not.

Sorry if I have in any way offended you.
