There will be an early buyer system out at some point, with the full version out next year.

Also Lee mentioned that the people who buy the early adopter release will be eligable for a free upgrade to the full version, as long as you pay for shipping. This may change so be careful.

I wouldn't get your hopes up, there is still quite a bit to finish; also the word down the grapevine is that it will be release in one of the EU Countries (not UK) first.

Personally, if i were to guess; it would possible be around February-March 2005.

Yea Lee said it is definately France. That may not be for the EA though, although it probably is.

Actually it works the other way around - the EA version will NOT be available to anyone in France (because of publishing agreements there). They will of course get the full version when ready via the publisher we have there.

You will pay whatever the difference in pricing is. If the EA version is say $10 less than the full release, then it is only the $10 you would have to pay. There will be no financial deterrant from buying the EA and then upgrading to the full release, the end result will be exactly the same (money-wise) as if you had bought the full release from the start. You'll just get the product some months sooner, that's all.

Cheers,

Rich

Of course, if it was finished there would be no need for the "early adopter" label. EA users comments will feed final release features.

Its better than them not releasing it at all . Helps cut down on the number of bugs that are boxed and sent to the shops.
