What is official line on people that bought the 'upgrade' version of DBPro and now trying to sell old version? Is this legal?

When I was in the chat with the DBS team, they said I own both copies of DBV1 and DBP and I can do with them what I like. DBPro is a new product, not an upgrade, even though they price it as an upgrade. They are sepearate products as far as licensing, so I'm going to eventually give my copy of DBV1 away to a friend.

Correct - they are 2 products, 2 licenses, give one away to a friend/relative/whatever really.

Cheers,

There would appear to be quite a price difference,
I ordered a copy for:
£59.99 (Fasttrak)did'nt get reference manual
don't exist anymore.

£69.99 (Fasttrak)Full
£49.99 ( " " )Upgrade
Now if there is no difference betweeen Full and Upgrade what's going on here.
Has anyone got Fasttrak's customer services email address all they got is an on website email form?

Well if you can not get the manual for the original darkbasic there is pdf version of it at http/www.darkbasic.com/upgrade.php?f=v113
which you can use and print out.

"So theres no diference between the Upgrade and the Full version of DBpro?"

There's absolutely no difference between the two so far as the SOFTWARE is concerned. As for the manuals, etc, I can't comment on that.

Cheers,

Rich
