On delphi 6 I want to write a dll to enable me to have a text box in dark basic pro and i also want to have a command that allows me to have buttons.
the syntax would be something like:
MAKE BUTTON button number,width,height,string

associated commands would be

POSITION BUTTON button number,x,y

IF Buttonclick(button number)=1 then ....

does anybody know how to write a dll third party command in delphi 6 that would do this in darkbasic pro?
if really want windows style buttons in my game on the side of the screen.
Please!
Thankyou!

Ohhhhh! I think you can't do it, aspecualy on Pascal! Making buttons, status bars, menus and other is rather difficult work, even MFC is out of power! You need to know good Win32 API (Application Programming Interface). But who knows, who knows? May be you will do it?! Just try...

Pascal is the language that Delphi uses.

If you can do it using the Windows API, then Delphi will be fine, as it can call WinAPI commands.
