Yup, accidental flock pattern simulation software.

I *WAS* trying to create a piece of code that made loads of triangles fall to the ground to look like glass shattering, but I typed something wrong and they started flying around, so I put in some more random bits of rotate objects' 'n' stuff, and voila!

(Note: It's actually 17 lines, but I have 2 comments and xrotate object, yrotate object and zrotate object rather than just rotate object.)

(Comment the first xrotate line and uncomment the second xrotate line to get another nice pattern. )

Another copy of the code, exactly the same, through the 'Source' button.

Bizarrely, this actually works quite well when being played whilst listening to Rammstein's 'Nebel' (off the 'Mutter' album).

Plz? Anyone?

Comments? Good, decent, amazing, crappy - what do you think of it?

Well, it looks pretty neat, Blanky186. I changed the lighting some, though. That red is cool, but staring at it a long time is weird...
Setting all the objects to "emiissive" you can make 'em any color you want, and the light is turned off, too

Oh yeah, try this:

Ok, so it a little over 20 lines, now.
Better combine a couple.

Tweaked further

20 lines exactly. Most commands on one line: 4. Total lines if seperated: 28. Watch closely, and be amazed at the smooth color fades.

Edit: For even MORE fun:

Way cool... I want to make it my screensaver but I don't know how - I'm new to DBPro and I tried putting in

at the bottom. Doesn't work.

And thanks for the nice comments, guys - I haven't visited this thread for ages, because I thought it'd just gone off the page, and I don't have set object emissive in DBC

Sorry if I was a bit harsh, StepTiger, but I don't like people telling me what to do if I think they won't even understand the code (based on your 20-line posting, I think. 3 word string concentation).

Thats because your checking to see if one of the movements is equal to 1. You should use:

I changed the code around a bit and made it easier to change the amount of objects, changed the camera and object rotation a little, made the triangles into spheres and gave it a rainbow effect. I also added in mouse move for easy setup as a screensaver.

I added some more stuff because the balls were getting away from the camera, enjoy! Now includes textures lighting and variable sizes
