Hi i just wondered. has anyone written a lan game that works
if so say yes i just want to see how many people have.
I have a word of advice...
..don't piss on an electric fence!

We are in currently creating one The client/server stuff already works ... and it's not only LAN but also playable over the net ;D ... more about that in a few weeks I think

yes - currently being used in someones game
is capable of Lan/Internet/Hybrid

for saying alot of people want MMORPGs and Online style games, kinda weird you don't see many requests for this kinda thing - i mean Network Scripting certainly isn't a simple task (especially if you want to keep pings to a min)

Yep I've done 2 games with multiplayer lan modes.

Just some info:

The server is a 1200MHz Pentium / 256MB Ram and W2K ... it's connected through a 4MBit connection and my latest tests had a ping rate <90ms

The client is made with DBpro + a new selfmade TCP/IP Dll so everything currently works fine.
