This was actually done by one of my friends, not by me. He couldn't be stuffed making an account though, so it's going under my username.

This is a semi-complete faithful remake of an oldschool action/racing game. For anyone who's played the original, you won't be disappointed . Here are a few screenshots:

Some of the features include suspension calculated on each wheel, and a vector motion engine with real world physics (slightly tweaked ). Some things have yet to be implemented, such as different cars and opponents. There are a few bugs too and some things that need to be reworked (like the oil slicks, in a major way).

A beta is available, but it's a bit screwy to download, so bear with me . The game is contained in a multi-part rar archive. You can download the peices from here and here. Now, thier extension is set as zip, but they're actually rar archives, so just change the extension back to .rar upon downloading. In addition, the files are password protected. The key is "rocknroll". Sorry about all this crap. Blame geocities with thier extension restrictions, and filesize limits.

Anyway, download away. Opinions and suggestions welcome.

Indeed, the ~ kills the URL. I'll have to look at that when I get some time.

Cheers,

Rich
