Its prob just me but I get this error on VC6 (Service Pack 6):

Thats just a straight build after the project wizzard.

I have installed the dxsdk_dec2004.

I get the same errors when I build the examples too.

I have also downloaded the dxsdk_dec2004_extras but that doesnt seem to have anything useful in it. Am I missing something?

Seems like its ALMOST there but something is just stopping it at the last.

I had indeed downloaded the wrong SDK extras. D'OH!

All works fine now thank you.

What version of SDK and Extras do I really need?

I have installed dec2004 SDK and Extra... but it complains for the missing of d3dx8.lib

I have downloaded d3dx8.lib from the internet but then get the same error:

Any help on this?
