If I asked a question that was already answered, grab a rocket and aim it at my home, youll find my address next to my avatar. Launch the sucker and make me pay for my indescribable crimes against the TGC forums. (aint I a smart@$$?)
Anyways..........

1. Is it possible to have sloped surfaces? (arched doorways, ramps)
2. Can I put a switch for a door, ON the door instead of the wall?
3. If I made a custom switch (circuit breaker, lever)how would I
get it to work in FPSC? (Hold back the flames here)
4. Flickering lights?-No lights, need flashlight?
5. Submergible water? Water or liquid that fills up an area via
switch, floor plate, or whatever?
6. Cool flame effects????

Listen gamefreak10k, you dont have to be a smart@$$ when asking questions. Just ask them politely without all the extra rancor and well answer them, ok?

...........oh crap. I just replied to myself.

#4 = no (EA at least)

#5 = no (EA at least)

Those based upon what has been discussed in other threads.

I can't help with the other ones.

1 : If you can model it you can probably have it
in your game level.
2 : Dunno
3 : With the use of scripts that you attach to the entity i guess.
(you could copy an old switch script and then modify it)
4 : Not as far as i know
5 : se answer 4
6 : They have a flame effect. Cant promise that its cool.

Altouh i can be wrong on some of these answers and then
hopefully a Mod will correct me and give you the real answer.

1 - Yes.
2 - No, it has to go on a wall, floor, etc. If the door itself animates and opens it can't have the switch actually on it.
3 - There is a section in the manual on doing this.
4 - Yes you can make a dynamic light in a scene that turns on/off. No flashlights.
5 - No water.
6 - Flames yes.

Anyone still here? Got just a liiiittle bit more info to ask about:

1.I want to make a gun that freezes the enemy and automatically shatters him depending on how close to the enemy you are? This possible?

2.How about reflections? Will any mirror effects be available?

3.Secondary fire mode?

4.What are the system specs for FPSC?

2) No. Definately not EA maybe not ever.

3) Not yet (waiting for this one though!)

4) Same as DBpro. Windows XP only (Win 2000 will work)

...and don't you DARE go searching the forums before posting! You must NOT use the search feature!

to point 1...i think this could be possible with a little scripting.
lets say you have got a freezer cannon like in duke3d. the part where the enemy freezes...is just the "die animation". he does not fall to the ground and lie on the floor...he keeps standing....with an ice-like texture. then some script may control how far the player is away from the "dead" enemy....and if he gets closer....he enemy explodes
OR just let the enemy be freezed for a few seconds and then explode automatically.

yeah...thats the ticket !
